Drunk Drivers

Drunk driving is a crime that accounts for 40% of all traffic fatalities in the United States, and approximately 300,000 people are injured in accidents by drunk drivers every year. Drunk drivers often cause the worst accidents. Sadly, many drunk drivers also have no insurance because they are repeat offenders and cannot get insurance.

Lack on insurance is a major problem with drunk drivers. While state  law requires all drivers to carry liability insurance, many don't, or the insurance they carry only covers a small portion of the medical expenses. It is important to protect yourself by having  UIM and PIP  insurance on your car to protect yourself.

During my career as a prosecuting attorney, I prosecuted hundreds of drunk drivers, and tried over 50 jury trials. When drunk drivers caused fatalities, I prosecuted these criminals with the charge of vehicular homicide.

Since going into civil practice, I have represented dozens of victims of drunk drivers.
